The 14 Brigade headquarter of the Nigerian army, Ohafia, Abia state in its civil military outreach on Thursday and Friday embarked on the distribution of palliatives and conduct of medical services at owuaza, Okohia, Uzuakor. Obiaku and Obuzor community.
The outreach witnessed the distribution of food items such as rice, groundnut oil, tomatoes and other cooking items.
Heads of the various communities came out to witness the event.
On the medical outreach, certified military health personnel were on ground carrying on various types of health test and counseling.
The event is a contribution from the Nigeria army to cushion the effect of covid-19 on the listed communities.
The command which was conducting themselves professionally in discharge despite the incessant attacks on uniform men in the state.
Head of communities while expressing gratitude noted that it has been a good romance between the owaza people and military personnel around their communities and thanked the commander 14 brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General Solomon Babatunde Kumapayi for his professionalism and proactive approach as it relates to military and civilians affairs in the state.
