OHUHU WELFARE UNION
Office of the President General
SPECIAL ONLINE RELEASE
21/October, 2020
A CALL FOR CAUTION: (EndSARS Protests).
Umunne’m ndị Ohuhu,
We all can notice that these are trying and difficult times in our nation’s history. It is a time for us to reflect on the quality and equality of life in our country, and to offer prayers for positive change of attitude from our leaders and the followers, towards building a just and more inclusive society for all Nigerians.
We are urging Ohuhu citizens domiciled in different parts of the world, especially those in Nigeria and most specifically, those in Abia, Lagos and Abuja, to be more cautious as they plan to go about their daily activities, and obey the curfew imposed by government in some states.
Please, at all times, carry your personal identification cards on you, and ensure your personal safety and those of your family members and your neighbors, if you can.
Also, ensure the safety of your children with emphasis on those in different schools.
Our hearts go out to those whose lives have been senselessly cut short. We condole with their respective families, while urging the government authorities to discontinue with this high-handed approach of killing innocent and unarmed Nigeria citizens, whose only desires are to bring about social justice and sustainable development and quality of life.
We are hopeful that in no distant time, these too, will come to pass.
Thank you all.
Obi Aguocha
