GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Governor of Abia State and Visitor to Abia State University, has directed Chairman of Governing Council of Abia State University Uturu to reconstitute without delay, the Selection Committee for the nomination and screening of candidates for the office of Vice Chancellor of the University with specific reference to the Senate representatives so as to give all aspirants a level playing ground and ensure justice, equity and fair play in the selection process.

Consequently, all aspirants are to subject themselves to the regulations on the selection process of a new Vice-Chancellor as provided in the extant laws of the University.
