Oriaku congratulates Ebisike, Urges support for Ikpeazu
Abia state former Finance commissioner, Obinna Oriaku has congratulated the winner of last Saturday’s Aba North/South bye election, Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike.
Oriaku in his congratulatory message, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), for being fair to all parties. Though disappointed by his party’s loss, Oriaku admitted that Ebisike’s victory is a confirmation of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s developmental strides in Aba in particular and Abia in general.
“Even though I now belong to the opposition, what the Governor is doing on Aba roads cannot be ignored. Aba people merely showed appreciation by voting foe the Governor’s party.
“We had a poor outing, we will do better next time ” he said.
The Ngwa born politician while apologising for not standing with his people last Saturday, urged all abians to support Dr Ikpeazu in his efforts to make Abia SME hub in Africa
He also advised Obisike as Nwa Aba not to disappoint his people at the green Chambers.
He argued that the only way to attract dividends to the people of Aba is to work closely with the Government at the center and other members from the region.
