ORIAKU IN SECRET TALKS WITH GOV. IKPEAZU.
Following the abysmal failure recorded by APC in Saturday’s Aba Federal Constituency by-election, the embattled former commissioner for Finance Mr. Obinna Oriaku, was on Tuesday March 30th, 2021, sported at the Abia Governor’s Lodge, TY Danjuma Street, Asokoro in Abuja late night
Our source who pleaded anonymity for fear of being sacked by the government, narrated that Obinna who wore a white Senator material had arrived the lodge at wee hours and was received by a close aide of the Governor who took him to his principal.
The Governor had arrived at Abuja from Asaba where he went on a one day working visit.
The closed door meeting which lasted about an hour had only the Governor in attendance. Although details of the meeting was not disclosed, it is believed that it is not unconnected with Mr. Oriaku’s move to return to the PDP.
This surprise and clandestine move could’ve informed why media aides of the Governor are yet to engage fully in a media war between the government and Mr.Oriaku.
