Mascot Uzor Kalu writes INEC, demands transfer of voter’s card to Igbere
The picture of contenders for the governorship ticket of APC in Abia State is becoming clearer ahead of 2023 general election with the recent letter written to INEC by Mascot Uzor over transfer of his voter’s card.
With his abysmal performance at the just concluded Aba federal Constituency polls, it was authoritatively gathered that Orji uzor kalu who is still in shock over his brothers defeat, has concluded plans to hand over 2023 APC governorship ticket to Mascot Uzor.
To this end, there’s the need to ensure that Mascot
votes in Igbere instead of Aba in 2023.
According to investigations, INEC has received Mascots application for the transfer of his voter’s card from Aba to Igbere, his home town in Abia North.
A reliable source within APC revealed that Orji Uzor kalu will not be comfortable with Alex Otti, Gen Ihejirika or Uche Oga on the APC gubernatorial ticket, as he maintained that he doesn’t trust any to them to remain loyal if either of them emerges the governor of Abia state in 2023.
OUK had consulted widely for Mascot ahead of 2023 and only used the Aba North and South ticket to assert his authority as the leader and decision maker of APC in the State.
