FORMER ABIA PDP STATE WOMAN LEADER GETS MEDICAL BILL GESTURE FROM OHUHU PARTY STAKEHOLDERS
The stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ohuhu, Umuahia north local government area of Abia State on Sunday paid a solidarity visit to Chief Mrs Olilanya Nwaoha, former state woman leader of the ruling party in the State.
The visit was targeted at reigniting hope in her, assuring her of prayers and total support for her quick recovery.
The stakeholders, who paid Chief Mrs Olilanya Nwaoha, solidarity visit are notable personalities of the Abia PDP, such as Hon Kelechi Onuzurike member representing the good people of Umuahia North state constituency, Hon Dr Aham Uko, Hon Bob Agbugba, Hon Kingsley Megwara, Hon Nwachukwu Chidiebere, Comrade Lucky Akabuike Sir Emeka Ejiogu Prince Ben Okezie the PDP state treasurer, Hon Hope Uwaga, Prince Okezie Ogbudu, Hon Emeka Elias, Chief Okey Ihedioha, Hon Clement Onyeoziri, Chief Okey Ufomadu, Ifeanyi Okparanta, Hon Laz Okebanama and Sir Chisom Nwokoji and host of many others.
The caucus raised the sum of 750,000 naira which was presented to Mrs Olilanya Nwaoha for her medical bill.
The caucus emphasized that what prompted their decision to raise the fund was in reflection of the support she gave the party across the state during her reign as the state’ woman leader who deserves the care not only from the Ohuhu stakeholders of PDP but also from the state government and other well meaning spirited individuals.
Mrs Olilanya who was reportedly suffering from heart disease has been undergoing dialysis but praying God to show her mercy and restore her sound health.
Responding, In their separate speeches, the former state woman leader and her husband thanked the PDP family in ohuhu, for their love shown, adding that “with this singular act of gesture we have confidence that PDP is a party worth to identify with” .
They asked the coordinating team to hold firm in their vision of winning souls for the party which has started yeilding fruitful results.
