Eid-el-Fitr: Abia Speaker Felicitates Muslims, Preaches Love, Peaceful Coexistence
The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has congratulated Muslims in Abia State in particular and Nigeria in general on the successful end of the Holy Month of Ramadan marked with the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
The Speaker urged the Muslim Ummah in Abia to continue to exhibit the virtues of love, good neighbourliness, compassion and such others that advance the cause of humanity as commanded by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He urged them to also remember the poor and the needy in the society and use the occasion to continue to pray for the greater success of Abia State Government, for wisdom to leaders of the State, and for peace, security and prosperity to the people.
“On behalf of the Abia State House of Assembly, I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a joyous Eid-el-Fitr”, he concluded.
