APPOINTMENT OF LAURETTA ONOCHIE AS INEC COMMISSIONER; PRE PLANNED RIGING OF 2023 ELECTIONS BY RULING PARTY APC.
It saddens our heart as young Nigerians and Democrats who cherish decency and fairness especially from people in power to common people who gave them mandate.
Precedence is of essence in the account of history hence we condem the undemocratic behaviour of the ruling party APC.
We wonder why our electoral institution which ought to be independent is about to be politicised as against the provision of the law by ruling APC. It is so baffling to even imagine the temerity of the APC to attempt handing our Electoral system to an APC stalwart.
Its nothing but a preplanned rigging arrangement of 2023 General Election by the failed government of APC led by president Muhammadu Buhari to enable them continue in power by crook of hook.
The APC is afraid that Nigerians are now wise, they are set to evict them politically by 2023, when Nigerians shall in their millions rewrite the wrong and correct the life time most expensive political mistaken decision of by bringing this undemocratic, packaged tyrant, unprepared individuals, most corrupt set of old folks, most divisive elements and most nepotic political party and people to Aso Rock.
It remain a costly mistake and wrong choice of handing over our dear great Nation to this incompetent PMB led Government which has led Nigeria to economic, political and security misfortune.
The planting of an APC card carrying member, the former SSA on new media to President Muhammadu Buhari- Mrs Lurretha Onochie as Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Commissioner can not be justified by any guise hence the government must realise and reverse immediately.
It is a shame that the APC will not stop at anything to openly display desperacy to win an election that is even yet to be conducted.
The appointment of Ms Lauretta is an open display of zero respect for people’s opinion even on matters that affect their rights and their choice of people that will conduct the election of who lead and direct the affairs of their lifes.
We call on the leadership of the National Assembly that we condemn this unlawful act, and we call for immediate reverse of this redicoulus move.
9th National Assembly under Sen Ahmad Lawan and Hon Femi Gbajabiamila as Senate President and Speaker respectively will go down in the history of Nigeria as the worst, unintelligent, gullible, tendeciou and cruel legistive reign in Nigeria if Ms Lauretta is not rejected for this obvious reasons.
While employing all other legal and legitimate avenue to ensure this unjust, political influenced crime, illegal appointment, colossal electoral fraud and political manipulation never stands, PDP National Youth Movement shall equally in coming days mobilise young Nigerian locally and internationally in a peaceful protest to United Kingdom Embassy and other International Communities to seek intervention and prevailence on these open (daylight) robbery by APC in Nigeria.
We shall equally petition United Nation UN, the Diplomatic Communities, and African Union AU of this unprecedented flagrance abuse of rule of law and misuse of presidential power by Mr Muhammadu Buhari.
How can a politician and an APC stalwart be appointed an umpire over an election that APC as a political party is contesting. “This is the height of corruption and blatant abuse of Power.
Nigerians both young and old must by now understand more clearly that APC are in to destroy our electoral institution and set our democracy aback.
