Rc Umuahia North Partners Onyinye Ohuhu Foundation To Empower Automobile Mechanic With Tool Box Worth Thousands Of Naira

Rotary Club of Umuahia North, District 9142 in partnership with Onyinye Ohuhu Foundation International, has procured and handed over a full set of auto-mechanic working equipment worth over N200,000 naira to a young automobile mechanic, Mr. Nwachukwu Kingsley.
Speaking during his installation ceremony as the sixth Visionary President of Rotary Club of Umuahia North, Rtn. Emeka Sopuruchi disclosed that Mr. Nwachukwu Kingsley a native of Ofeme, Ohuhu Umuahia North LGA had finished his apprenticeship programme/ training as an auto-mechanic but had no money to setup his own workshop; the sorry situation which attracted the attention of the Rotary Club and Onyinye Ohuhu Foundation and the subsequent intervention.
His words, “This young man finished his training as an auto-mechanic and has no money to setup his own workshop. Rotary Club of Umuahia North in partnership with Onyinye Ohuhu foundation procured a full set of auto-mechanic working equipment worth over N200,000 Naira to ensure that he can start his own workshop and be able to feed his family and also become a better person in the society. Remember that there are still many other persons out there that may engage themselves in other bad things because they don’t have money to start-up their business or own a workshop. Today, through Rotary this young man is out of the street”.
Speaking shortly after he was honoured with “Community Service Award”, by the Rotary Club, the Founder and President, Onyinye Ohuhu Foundation International, Chief Raymond Ofoegbu pointed out that helping the needy in the Society could usher in an effective and long-lasting improvement in their lives.
Chief Ofoegbu remarked that helping the indigent/downtrodden is a noble endeavour, as the more one gives to poor and needy people, the more you strengthen them emotionally and psychologically.
Handing over the automobile mechanic tool box to the young man, Chief Ofoegbu seized the opportunity to call on other well-to-do’s in the Society to see the uplifting of people from the shackles of helplessness to prominence as a priority.
