The past may not always be glorious but it sure allows us into history, to enable us make informed decisions and guided actions for the future. However, for Chief Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu, the past has been a step of glory to glory.
For many who do not know, Raymond Ofoegbu is a strong voice in the affairs of Ohuhu land. The Ofeme son from Umuahia North local government area and practicing nurse in the United States of America was honoured by traditional rulers across Ohuhu land as Onyinye Ohuhu early this year, which has spur him to serve his community.
The learned leader is an alumnus of the School of arts and Science, USA and a citadel of higher learning where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing before proceeding to practice what he read.
Ofoegbu started his political career from being a people’s advocate and now graduated to community developer. He was an aide to former speaker Abia House of Assembly. While in the State House of Assembly he observed the grey aeas and today has promised to inject changes especially as it affects the common man in the society.
Raymond Ofoegbu has vowed to return democracy to the rural areas to reflect the true meaning of democracy.
It is on record that Chief Raymond Ofoegbu. used his connection to ensure that several indigenes of Umuahia are either gainfully employed or awarded contracts in the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The list of his magnanimity is endless as the Ofeme son left no stone unturned in his quest to accommodate his kinsmen. With his rich résumé, one would agree that Onyinye Ohuhu is loaded with what it takes to go on higher calling for the larger Ohuhu land.
