The Executives of the National Youth Movement of the PDP, Abia State Chapter, paid a courtesy call on the Abia State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, Chief Allwell Asiforo Phd at the Party’s Secretariat in Umuahia.
The group led by the State Coordinator, Comrade Nnaji Obed Asiegbu, said that the delegation was in his office to intimate the Party of its objectives and also to partner with the PDP at the State level and to get express permission to work hand in glove with the Party to take the message of hope to the grassroot until the objective of the movement in line with the Party’s goal is achieved. He lauded the Chairman for his receptiveness and prompt host in spite of the short notice.
The Party Chairman congratulated the Youth Movement for the commitment to ensure the rallying of voters ahead of the 2023 general election.
He charged them to see the movement as a call to service, pledging to support all their programs.
The NYM is an Umbrella body of PDP Youth Associations in the country, with a mandate to galvanize youths for Socio- Political development and support of all positive youth related initiatives of government at the National, State and Local Government levels.
