High Chief Raymond Ofoegbu Call On Former President to Help Revive Ulonna Farm Settlements One of Dr Okpara’s Signature Projects
Abia House of Assembly hopeful and founder Onyinye Ohuhu foundation Chief Raymond Ofoegbu yesterday spotted in a photograph with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in the residence of the former Eastern region premier Dr Micheal Iheonukara Okpara at Afugiri, Ohuhu, Umuahia, Abia State.
According to information reaching our news desk, Chief Ofoegbu used the medium to call on the former president to look into one of the signature projects of Dr Okpara which is the ulonna farm settlement to elevate the status of the place, adding that restoring the farm settlement to the standard of otta farm will not only create job opportunity and wealth to the host state and it’s environs but will help reduce criminality.
Ofoegbu noted that it will be a thing of joy if done, as it will go a long way to reignite hope on our timid Ohuhu youths as it was the dream of the premier that led to the creation of those settlements.
According to him, “I made my first million from agriculture here in Ohuhu land so if restored millionaires will be more than the average in our community” he said.
