Sir Obinna Aguocha, Ogwumabiri Umuahia has not only the winning cards but also possess the flair and expertise in playing it.No wonder, staccato of strindent voices have rented the Ohuhu political space persuading him to throw his hat in the ring to contest HOR to represent Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency.
It will amount to sheer understatement to posit that Sir Aguocha influenced his people positively and is still in the job of making life worthwhile and bearable to Ohuhu citizens as the President General, Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide.
His litany of developmental strides will constitute another write up in our subsequent exposé.
Undoubtedly,Ohuhu has serially suffered from palpable representative deficits.Ohuhu,a land of abundant human and material resources has been relegated to the lower rungs of political advancement.By extension,we have been assailled by underdevepment, misplaced priorities and lethargy.
When in a recent forum,Governor Okezie Ikpeazu PHD,referred to Ohuhu as cradle of political development,he was well informed of what he said.
Sadly,the present dilapidated Ohuhu’s political fortunes was a sad,ironic commentary of the heydays of Dr M I Okpara’s political and economic exploits.
Today Ohuhu people are reeling under a gruelling,political grievance.Well as a matter of expediency,the task to bring Ohuhu back into the political reckoning is frantically beckoning.Eric Hoffer quoted thus,”To have a grievance is to have a purpose in life”
Ohuhu people have concretized that ‘grievance’ by coming out in their droves to urge or even ‘coerce’ Sir Obinna Aguocha to rise above Ohuhu microcosm and grab a higher service.
Time to say yes is now!
