CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF RAYMOND ONYINYE OHUHU
Inline with with the guidelines of the PDP, the primary elections to elect the party’s flag bearer for 2023 general election was held at the approved venue and at the approved date of 22nd of may 2022, supervised and monitored by INEC, it was adjudged to be very peaceful and orderly in the presence of stake holders and a winner emerged in the person H/Chief Onyinyechi Raymond Ofoegbu while we congratulate the winner we urge those who lost the election to take it in good fate and wait for another time.
I also want to congratulate the party for organizing a peaceful election and to the good people of Umuahia North state constituency for their peaceful disposition all through the period of the election.
But unfortunately it has come to our notice that a group of people want to subvert the will of the people by collaborating with some party officials to upturn the result of the election and announce a different person other than H/Chief Ofoegbu the winner.
This will not go down well with Ndi Ohuhu and will create crisis in Ohuhu and may turn Ohuhu against the PDP as the outcome of that election is the wish of the people.
I trust that the PDP will not succumb do the will of some unscrupulous politicians who wants to paint the party in bad light because of their selfish interest.
