OPINION: OHUHU’S FAILED LEGISLATIVE DEVELOPMENT:A CALL FOR TOTAL REVIEW: HON UGOCHUKWU IKPO’S FACTOR

Every accurate political cum economic watcher will testify that Ohuhu’s legislative fortunes as currently observed is in a nosedive.Every developmental indicators are on a steep decline.
Our present administrators/legislators in all the strata of representations have sacrificed diligence, altruism and integrity on the altars of crass negligence, buck passing and dandified cluelessness.
We as a people and and representatives have gleefully embraced all the negativities that have defined us.Ohuhu has continued to be relegated as a saddening commentary in all it’s intent and purposes.
Our serial representatives woefully lost the fight on evolving an effectual and enduring recipe that would have sustained our stakes in the legislatve enterprise and Ohuhu has been groaning heavily under legislatve deficits.
Every facet of legislatve all inclusiveness and networth representation buckled under the strain of greed,avarice and lack of vision.
Representing the people became an end to a means itself as it became the needed vehicle to amass stupendous wealth with a complicit government.Ohuhu became poorer for it!
Rita Coolidge helped to summarize the legislatve/economic morass plaguing our dear Ohuhu nation when she said,”Ask not what your country can do for you….”
Our generation is yet to interrogate a way forward for Ohuhu’s legislatve competence.
However,the veteran French statesman,
Charles De Gaulle shouted for all to hear that,
“Politics is too serious to be left to the politicians”.
He meant that the business of politics ought to be ceded to people with good heart and untainted conscience that will spurn them to deliver on set goals.
Hon Ugochukwu Ikpo is not a mainstream politician weaned with the usual milk of selfishness and chicanery.Fate has evolved and enthrusted him with the mission of charting a brand new Ohuhu legislatve course far from the status quo.He came and saw the systematic alienation of Ohuhu’s collective interest in ABHA.He has now come out with a bold and a louder voice to campaign for Ohuhu’s inclusion in the scheme of things.He is rightly equipped mentally,academically and otherwise for the task of representing the good Ohuhu people in ABHA in APGA’s banner.
Hon Ugochukwu Ikpo has heeded the clarion call to exert his expertise and capacity to awake the Ohuhu legislatve dreams.
He cannot less agree with Susan Sontag who said inter alia,”The becoming of a man is the history of exhaustion of his possibilities”
Hon Ugochukwu Ikpo has the history of possibilities for a new Ohuhu that will sprout from the ashes of the present decadence.
Let’s help him to realize the possibility of making Ohuhu work again.
The time is now to vote him as Ohuhu legislator in ABHA under the platform of APGA.
