HON UGOCHUKWU IKPO’S MANDATE.
Seeking for political office is one thing and seeking to serve is another thing.
“Service is only a disease in which only few know the cure” says one political scientist.The drive to serve people is ingrained in the subconscious.Most people have seen political posts as avenue for self-aggrandizement and self-riching.Callous office holders have seen that office as an iroko tree where you climb once to stuff your pockets.This ugly mindset has impacted sorely on the electorate who innocently voted them into power.Unfortunately,these hapless citizenry have had to contend with dearth of basic amenities,lack of employment opportunities and general despondency.Hence,they serially lost faith and trust in political leadership,thereby engendering apathy.
But time to rewrite this unbecoming narrative!
There is a flicker of hope and trust in governance as Hon Ugochukwu Ikpo emerged to restore hope and confidence to the people of Ohuhu State Constituency as their representative in the unfolding political dispensation.
By his body language,he has left nobody in doubt as what he has in stock for his constituents.He is born and bred in the neighborhood,well known and celebrated amongst the old,the young and his peers.He has verifiable businesses that sprawl in Ohuhu communities where he engaged the services of his kiths and kins as employees within the neighborhood he intends to represent in the House of Assembly.He is really a home boy .
Let Ohuhu voters not be deceived from anonymous,imported pretenders who do not have verifiable surnames.Rather,they should queue behind a known ‘ homeboy’ in the neighborhood.
Time to go for people that know that politics is just an exercise to serve people and not the other way round.
Hon Ugochukwu Ikpo is the man to watch as he has been unveiled as the House of Assembly aspirant under APGA in the forthcoming election.
He means well for Ohuhu people!
