OKWULEGHE GETS BOOST AS OFEME FOR SURE ENDORSE HIM
Youths from the 4 blocks across Ofeme, yesterday, endorsed the candidacy of hon onyedi okwuleghe, the House of Assembly standard-bearer of the All Progressives Alliance (APC).
The youths, under the aegis of Ofeme for sure also gives him an award of ahu nwa echeta nna.
Leader of the group, Mr Ikechukwu Oti said the group is supporting the APC candidate because of his capacity to bring the desired change across the state Constituency.
“Okwuleghe has pledged to remove his personal interest entirely if elected state house representative in 2023. He doesn’t have other businesses or interests to protect, while working as the member representing Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia legislative house. We trust that onyedi okwuleghe would reposition Ohuhu politically in four years, employing this triple banner of rule of law, separation of powers and due process, which would bring about employments and take off youths from the streets,” Oti said.
Reacting, okwuleghe expressed the optimism that APC would win the 2023 governorship and house of assembly poll. He also listed areas he would focus if elected the House member.
“As house member, I want to reconcile the different blocks of Ohuhu. That reconciliation will be the beginning of the solutions to our problems. I’ll emerge as house member through the votes of Ndi Ohuhu. We must respect the ballots. Elections must be predicated on valid votes.
“As house member, I’ll ensure the Child Rights Act will be fully implemented. I’ll build a constituency where nobody will be left behind. Ohuhu is yet to be made and recognized as urban which we are part of, the Child Rights Act will not be left out. Ulonna north and south will get the government attention. As House member i will partner with the welfare union to ensure sustainable development. As House member I’ll make Ndi Ohuhu believe that a representative can bring infrastructural developments to his Constituency through a prosperous path that will be difficult to reverse.
