Sir. Oko Chukwu Condoled With CMD, FMC Umuahia, Prof. Azubuike Onyebuchi Over Father’s Death.
The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has condoled the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi and family over the demise of their Father, late Sir Micah Onyebuchi, describing it as a rude and painful loss.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the country home of the Onyebuchi at Umuokoo Amuzukwu Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA noted that by the role Sir Micah played in his family, community and State as former Chairman of Abia State Civil Service Commission, ASUBEB and Deputy Chairman of Umuahia North LGA cannot be forgotten, having contributed immensely to the advancement of education as well as the development of the State.
The Deputy Governor said he quite appreciate the magnitude of the pains and vacuum the demise of their beloved Father has created in not the immediate family, but the Umuokoo Amuzukwu Ibeku Community and State at large and urged them to take it with fortitude as death is a necessary end and mystery that can only be explained by God.
He commended the Chief mourner, Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi and other members of the bereaved family for their spirited efforts to take care of their Father who not only served God, but humanity through his wonderful Christian life and prayed God to give them the strength to bear the great loss as well as grant the deceased eternal rest.
Responding on behalf of the family, the Chief mourner and CMD Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi said having shared a very close bond with his late Father, he is happy that he not only touched so many lives as a strict disciplinarian and teacher, but made peace with God.
Dr Onyebuchi said they have accepted the demise of their beloved Father as the will of God and promised to uphold all his examplary life and legacies, while appreciating the Deputy Governor for coming to identify with the family in their moment of grief.
The Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu who was accompanied by his Aides later signed the condolence register.
