2023: YPP is sent by God to restore Abia, says Anyaso
The deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Peoples Party (YPP) Dr. Chimaobi Anyaso, has assured Abians that the party will not disappoint them if voted into office in 2023.
He said the Governorship candidate of the party ENGR Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, is a man sent by God to restore the lost glory of the State and put it on the part of enviable progress among other states in the Nigeria.
Anayaso spoke in his Igbere country home on Friday during the celebration of his 42nd birthday and new yam festival.
He said, “YPP is a party sent by God to restore the lost glory of Abia State. Our party represent the sacrificial lamb God sent to Abraham to sacrifice for him instead of using his son Isaac.
“I know that the people of our state had suffered for a long time but, I want to let you know that your suffering will be over once our party takes over the reins of power in this state.
“I want to pled with my Igbere kinsmen not allow anyone to cause confusion for us in the coming election. This is the only opportunity we have to reposition our state, since I have been chosen to be the next deputy governor of our state, I urge you all to vote for our party in the fort coming election.
“I urge all of you our mothers, fathers and the youths to stand by us and support your own son because we will not disappoint you”.
Earlier the president general of Igbere welfare chief Godswill A. Okorie, pointed out that Young people deserves to be supported to take over leadership position in the state.
He Commended Anyaso, for gathering his people to celebrate with him and prayed that God will grant him his heart desires.
He urged his Igbere people to vote wisely in the fort coming general election in 2023.
Rev Preiz Imoh Orji, in a sermon charged those in attendance to use whatever God has given them as a channel to become a blessing to others and improve the state.
Rev Imoh also prayed for the success of all candidate of the YPP, for them to be able to reposition the state.
The high point of the event was cutting of yam by the celebrant, traditional rulers and the chairman of the occasion Chief Uche Akwukwaegbu.
