In a bid to reduce the hardship and suffering caused by the increase in fuel price in our commercial fuel stations, Prof Ibe, the APGA Gubernatorial candidate flagged off operation fill your bus for commercial township Bus drivers in Aba. This event which was filled with jubilation and joy in the heart of Aba township bus drivers brought a new dawn to the beneficiaries who express their profound gratitude to Prof Ibe for his generosity in helping the poor and the needy.

Speaking with our newsman, the APGA zonal chairman Aba, Chief Lucky Erondu who spoke in Igbo language said the aim of this exercise is to help the poor bus drivers to caution the effect rised by the high fuel price. In his own “This is to show you how the leadership of APGA will be, if you go to Anambra where APGA is ruling, you will see it with your own eye that APGA has always been a revolutional party that always setting development project in course adding that the benecifiaries should also reduce cost for their passengers so that goodwill of Prof Ibe will get to everyone.”

Continuing, he stressed that this exercise is not motivated politically, that Prof Ibe has been helping the needy for over past five years, he added that prof Ibe recently flagged off Free Medical Outreach which has saw the first round visiting all the 17 local governments, and will continue soon, he has been giving scholarship to handicapped youths who cannot afford to go to the University, he has been doing all manner good to help the citizens of Abia, for instance, during covid’19, he supplied many trailers of rice and indomie to Abians to caution the effect of covid’19. So, we cannot say that he is just doing because he wants to be governor, no!
Also, some of the beneficiaries, Mrs Patience Jim who spoke in Igbo language expresses her heart felt joy to Prof Ibe for making this easy by giving them fuel. According to Mrs. Jim “We thank Prof Ibe for giving us fuel today, and we want him to win so that we can experience change in Abia State especially in Aba because we have suffered here.”

Another beneficiary Mr Ifeanyi Okonkwo said that he pray to God for AGPA because we seriously need change in Abia, I will say to Prof IK that he should continue doing what he’s doing, he enjoins him do something everybody will say at the end of his tenure we still need prof Ibe as he compared him with Mandela of South Africa.

Again, Mr Onyema Oji said he suprised when his colleague said that Prof Ibe is giving free fuel to bus drivers that he immediately rushed to see by himself. He expressed his gratitude to the AGPA gubernatorial candidate and prayed that God will help him win this election so that Abian can experience fresh breeze of a new government.

Consequently, Chief Uzoagu a.k.a. Iwuobodo, said that AGPA will make Abia State to look like Anambra, that Prof Ibe has a good heart and can be likened to Prof Soludo and Mr. Peter Obi of Anambra State. He expressed his joy over him for his magnimity in helping the poor and the needy. According to Iwuobodo, “We are no longer voting parties, but individual, like for me, I will vote Peter Obi for president and Prof Greg for Governor and so will I choose others from even other parties. It doesn’t matter the party the person is, what matters is the capacity of the person in quote.”

Concluding, the Chairman Gregnite Mr. Chimaobi Emeruwa said they are here today for commercial mini bus drivers to give them fuel so that the high cost of fuel will not affect them badly. in his words “we are here for this shuttle drivers, we are helping to give them 10 litres of fuel each, you see our road is not good, they are spending a lot of money to repair their vehecles, so we decided to help them. We can’t give them money, we decided to give them fuel so they can use to get money to help themselves and also repair their vehicles. I know my principal has good plans for Abians and I pray that God will give him life and abundant health to fulfill all his heart desires for Ndi Abia”
