PROF IBE RUES THE DEATH OF CHIEF OKEREKE
The Abia state governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Prof Gregory Ibe has bemoaned the sudden demise of Chief Ndidi Okereke.
Reacting to the unfortunate development, Prof Ibe regretted the sad lose of the former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who he described as a decent and principled politician of repute.
According to Prof Ibe,” I must admit that I am personally pained by the sudden death of Chief Ndidi Okereke not just because he was my senior at Boys High School Ihube but also because of what he stood for as a decent and principled politician of repute”.
Paying tribute to Chief Okereke, Prof Ibe regretted that the vacuum created by the death of former party bigwig will be difficult to fill in view of his strict adherence to to peaceful politicking.
He therefore enjoined bereaved members of Okereke family to bear the demise of the former party stalwart with fortitude while praying for his peaceful repose.
