2023: Prof. Ibe as the Moses to move Abia/Southeast out of Pharaoh’s den
By Theo Rays
The 2023 general elections is an opportunity to elect good governors who are capable to lift Ndigbo out poor leadership like Moses lifted the Israelites out of the den of the Almighty King Pharaoh The Southeast needs good States Governors who can provide good governance to move the zone away from bad govenance holding the zone down like King Pharaoh holding the Israelites down in bondage at Egypt.
Interestingly, Southeast have quality sons and daughters who are capable to provide such good governance if given the opportunity to serve as States Governors. One of such is Prof. Gregory Ibe. Incidentally, Prof. Ibe is currently the governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the 2023 governorship election in Abia State. According to his profile, Ibe is a versatile businessman and seasoned administrator with vast experience in human and economic development and management who of course can musster what it takes to get Abia out of the Pharaoh’s den called bad govenance.
In other words 2023 is an opportunity for the good people of God’s Own State to elect a good Governor in the person of Prof. Ibe who have what it takes to get them out of the hook of bad governance and make their dream of a much better Abia State come to reality. Checks show that Prof. Ibe who is the Pro Chancellor of Gregory University, Uturu holds a pole position ahead of other governorship candidates in terms of capacity, comptence, exposure and experience needed to move Abia out of Pharaoh’s den
There are three things needed to move Abia out of Pharaoh’s den and the governorship candidate of APGA can comfortably provide them. First, Abia needs stronger interaction on how to run the affairs of the State with emphasis on critical issues of governance such as education, healthcare, security,, business, management, infrastructures, construction, capacity building, science and technology among others. The pro Chancellor of Gregory University is an international consultant who has been interacting with the entire world on how to develop and run quality education among others mentioned above, so he is in a better position to give Abia a stronger interaction on how to run the affairs of the State.
Second, Abia needs mobilization of its people with emphasis on fixing the right people in right places and engaging people into results oriented activities. Prof Ibe is an employer of Labour and a need assessment expert who knows how to fix the right people in right places. Again he is a man of creative instinct, a man of innovation and sophistication and a goal getter who knows what to do at any given time to achieve results. There is no gain saying the fact that Ibe as governor will get the ideas, knowledge and people who can make Abia work on board.
Thirdly, Abia needs a younger, comptent, ambitious and adventurous leader with emphasis on repositioning and advancing Abia to face development competition with leading brands like Anambra, Rivers, Lagos and Kano. Born in Kaduna State, the girlsovernorship candidate of APGA in Abia State for 2023 election is under 60. He is competent with national visibility in Nigeria. He is a very ambitious and adventurous businessman who likes to face competition. And believe me, as governor of Abia State he will reposition and advance Abia to face competition in terms of development.
