IMAGINING HOW REWARDING OHUHU’S LEGISLATIVE ENTERPRISE WILL FLOURISH UNDER THE WATCH OF HIGH CHIEF CHRIS AKACHUKWU NWA-ABIA.
“The meaning of things lies not in things themselves, but in our attitude towards them”
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
It is no longer news that not a few contestants are jostling for a slot to represent Ndi Ohuhu in the next Abia legislative experiment.
A rundown of the aspirants shows the good, the committed ones, wheeler-dealers, mercantlists, employment seekers and ego driven pundits whose aim is to massage the bloated egos of invisible godfathers.
Fair and fine, Ndi Ohuhu have known better now!
A cursory appraisal of the list of House of Assembly aspirants in Ohuhu presently reveals a horde of political adventurists who have seen the ABHA as a rendezvous for material acquisition at the expense of committed and devoted representation.
Albeit, one factor resonates louder, the meaning of the things itself lies on the heart, attitude and commitment to serve Ala Ohuhu.
However, one man stands out in capacity and competence, candour and forthrightness to pursue agressively but seamlessly all that will define Ohuhu’s future ascendancy into the anticipated limelight and recognition. He is High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia.
An urbane, affable bonhomie with all the trappings of verve and energy to deliver.
This man has shown an enormous outspokenness on the legislative/political woes that have been the lot of Ndi Ohuhu in all these years that locusts and palmer worms have ravaged Ohuhu’s legislative/political fabric.
High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia has effortlessly educated all that one needs not to be rapaciously glued to a godfather to win election or change the worsening narrative in Ohuhu land.
He has illustrated in deed and words that Ndi Ohuhu do not need amorphous stakeholders to determine their legislative/political destinies.
High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia’s homily enunciates that Ndi Ohuhu do not have to be eternally tethered to their slave masters(godfathers) to be able to access basic amenities and democratic dividends.
He aimed at totally ending the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ holding us down for too long whereby Ndi Ohuhu will keep on loving their slave masters and abiding by their dictates.
To him, those days have gone for good!
High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia is aware that poverty and deteriorating standard of living are walking on four legs in all the nooks and crannies of Ohuhu land.
He was also alarmed and angered that our tormentors in the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ are doing nothing about it as they weaponized poverty to subjugate our collective sensibilities.
In his own little way he has provided face saving and worthwhile investments in the welfare of his people. What our ‘stakeholders’ couldn’t activate for Ndi Ohuhu through government interventions, High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia did it with his hard-earned resources!
In all the social spheres, he made his mark all through the Ohuhu enclave, be in scholarships, counterpart funding of safety workshops, business grants, rehabilitation of markets, construction of new roads, building of schools, building of community halls/recreation centres etc.
Name them, it’s inexhaustible!
Ndi Ohuhu’s political/legislative choice is real and daring now.
Can we still make the mistake of listening to our ‘peripatetic’ stakeholders who are not stable and genuine to identify with our yearnings or a fresh patriot in the mould of High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia who has promised to give us a durable representation in ABHA?
Ohuhu’s fortunes will be handsomely secured and protected in the next four years under the watch of High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia.
The same Antoine de Saint-Exupery said this,”True happiness comes from the joy of deeds well done, the zest of creating new things”
Ndi Ohuhu have been appreciating High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa-Abia on his benevolent stance and his overriding desire to create a decisive change in our legislative enterprise in ABHA.
