Today, Saturday May 20, 2023 by 6PM, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), South-South Zone, convenes in Uyo for the Grand Reception in honour of the seventh Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State and pioneer Commissioner for Information, Akwa Ibom State.
Ekpo, a former BBC and Voice of America reporter is by many standards a living legend and pride of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
Honoured alongside ‘Uncle Mo’, will be the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong, an excellent Public Relations practitioner and information manager.
