Reactions As Peter Obi Gets Support of 20 Lawyers As They Volunteer To Help Him Reclaim His Mandate
The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party says no fewer than 20 lawyers and legal professionals have volunteered to help the party and its candidates retrieve their allegedly stolen mandates.
During a meeting with several candidates who participated in the recent general elections, the party announced that a legal team had graciously offered to provide assistance to candidates who believed they had been unfairly treated in the aftermath of the February 25 and March 18 elections in the state.
Highlighting the party’s commitment to supporting its candidates, the spokesperson stated, “We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of professionals and lawyers who are willing to volunteer their expertise and services at no cost. They aim to aid our candidates in reclaiming the mandates that were unjustly taken away.”
