Orji Uzor Kalu becoming Senate President Is Our Overall Interest – High Chief Chris Akachukwu Nwa Abia
As a former governor of Abia state and the Senate Chief Whip, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is very pragmatic and can be best described as a goal getter and the voice that will complement Igbo’s involvements in the scheme of things in Nigeria of today.
The position of number Three citizen of the country(Senate President) is that of influence and authority to enable the South East pull a force that will collectively launch her into the political hemisphere of Nigeria which for long has been lacking.
Nobody should display ignorance on the need to have this pragmatic personality at the forefront because it largely brings the most desirable benefits to the South East if OUK emerges Senate President.
It is therefore imperative to throw away the old things which did not potray him on the good light barring in mind how disadvantaged the South East region had been over the years as his approach could have been a political strategy that has to do with to cut the tail of the Animal as a smart hunter instead of loosing out entirely.
Orji Uzor Kalu will be loud if elected Senate President,he will fight for the inclusion of South East in the nation’s power equation because it takes a man with guts, temerity and audacity to speak to the President such as Bola Ahmed Tinubu- don’t forget they served in the same era as governors.
His disposition to return Igbo to it’s pride of place should not be overlooked in the struggle for who takes up the mantle of leadership in June as the President of the Senate.
The former Governor emerged winner during the National Assembly Election inspite oddities experienced during the Obidients Tsunami.
The overall interest must be to rally round to pursue a course for one of our own to become the Senate President, then we’ll later call him to a roundtable discussion so as to put him aright wherever he has gone wrong.
I kindly will appeal to our minds to think home and mostly what benefits it’ll offer to us if Orji Uzor Kalu becomes the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. High Chief
